*THE NAME OF THE LORD PT10*

*And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the Lord Shall be saved*.'
*Acts 2:21*.

The reason why we have been trying our best to establish why it is necessary to know the name of the Lord is that it carries so many blessings to do so and having known about the name let us take a look now at why we were trying to know and to call on the name of the Lord. Amen!!!

From St Peters point of view or revelation he said that calling on the name of the Lord births salvation. You heard me, Yes "salvation" as far as St Peter is concerned to call on the name of the Lord is a sure way to salvation or a guarantee of salvation because by calling on the name of the Lord you are establishing relationship with the Lord.

Which means that the first step to salvation is to know the name of the Lord or simply put to know the Lord. It is only when you know the Lord that you can come to Him knowing full well that you are coming to meet a God that you have established a relationship with, a God that you have something in common with them you know that whenever you come to Him that you will never remain the same again.

Salvation is a kind of transfer from where you are to where God wants you to be or salvation can be said to be you abandoning your old ways of life to embrace a new way of life according to the mind of God. Salvation is you seeking God and His righteousness.

I pray for you and with you that the Lord will open the windows of heaven and pour upon you the treasures of heaven by the power in the name of Jesus.
