*BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT*

*And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance*.
*Acts 2:4*.

Bro Luke told us that the apostles were all filled with the Holy Spirit and it was when they were filled that other things followed. He was emphatic on that word "filled" to be filled mean that the container is full of the content with which it was filled. To be filled means that there was no vaccum such that no space was left for other things.

To be filled means to put as much as the container can contain and to be filled can also mean to be made full, whether physically or figuratively. When we talk about being filled we are talking about quantity of a substance anything that can be measured.

They were all filled but i believe that not not all of them were filled with the same quantity because the gift of God is giving according to capacity not according wishes and according to the vessel that is available not filling not according to our imagination.
*And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey*. *Matt 25:15*.

Every gift is giving according to ability and the results also expected of the gift is also in accordance with the measure of the gift that was given. God cannot expect yam from you when he have you orange but the orange that must come from the orange must be in measure of the seed orange given to you.

You and i as believers are filled with the Holy Spirit in different capacities and we are expected to bear fruit in line with the measure that was given to us unfortunately many of us are busy looking for more when we have not put the little that was given to us into use hence even the little that was given to us has been withdrawn or made to be dormant.

I pray for you and with you that the fire of the Holy Spirit will destroy the wicked and their wickedness in your life and family and the works of your hands by the power in the name of Jesus.
