*BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT PT9*

*And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance*.
*Acts 2:4*.


Apart from making us new creation by the reason of the spirit that God has given to us on Pentecost and the power that we received from there, there are so many other things that the spirit and the power that it carries tends to achieve in our lives and one of such is what i want us to discuss today and it is that the spirit makes us sons of God.
*For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together*. *Rom 8:15-17*.

Now anyhow you look at it either by way of adoption or just "biological"(son na son abeg) the two tends to achieve one thing and that is that we are made the children of God. So the spirit transforms us not just by reason of transformation to make us a new creation but unto becoming sons and daughters of God.

Bro Paul went ahead to tell us why we are being made the sons of God, he said that there is an inheritance, are you not happy now? Am talking of an inheritance from God not man, Am inheritance is what you get by reason of your sonship, it is not something you work for.

So until you become a son of God you are not entitled to any inheritance from God and it really don't cost much to be a son of God just that many of us are just stubborn for no reasonable reason. The price has been paid all you need is to come to God the way you are for him to transform you into what He wants you to be that's all.

Am inheritance is what you enjoy and possess and can do anything with it without anyone disturbing you about it. An inheritance is a product of good will from a parent but it can only be gotten majorly by reason of sonship.

I pray for you and with you that the Lord will bless you so abundantly beyond your imagination and qualification by the power in the name of Jesus
