*BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT PT3*

*And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance*.
*Acts 2:4*.


Having filled the apostles with the Holy Spirit He went ahead to give them the ability to speak other tongues and they spoke with authority to as many as were there to listen to them and all of them heard them in their own language.

Languages are made for communication and any communication that does not benefit the hearer cannot be said to be a communication and any communication meant to communicate love can be heard by all and sundry.

In building the tower of babel the Lord came down to confuse their language because they were trying to use the gift of God to fight the giver of the gift. They said to themselves let us build something that can get to heaven in other words they were telling God that they took can make heaven on their own.

They said to themselves "let us make for ourselves" which means that they believe that they don't need God in their affairs and you and i know that we are made for the Lord and only in the Lord came we don't fulfilment and purpose so when God saw their intentions He has to scatter their language.

Another motivating force behind what they did was pride as the said to themselves "let us make a name for ourselves" they wanted to make a name for themselves because the don't want the name of the Lord or have anything to do with the name of the Lord.

Having scattered their language because of their pride He has to restore it in the new testament having seen that they have been taught the ways of the kingdom which has made them to be submissive to the will and plans of God for them.

The language that was restored as against the one that was scattered was and has since then been made and is being used to spread the word of God no longer the word of pride and arrogance. The language was restored to glorify God and not to fight God. 

The language that was restored was to teach man the things of the kingdom and not to take men away from the kingdom. The language was restored to proof to you and i that everything belongs to God and that nothing can exist without God.

I pray for you and with you that whatever you have lost before now that you will recover all of them by the power in the name of Jesus.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave.
