*BE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT PT15*

*And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance*.
*Acts 2:4*.

We have been looking at why the apostles were all filled with the Holy Spirit, first of all let me say that it was a matter of all of them not some. When everybody gathers to do a job the impact is always massive and the energy that will be spent is always minimal all of them were filled because the labour is much and as such no labourer should be spared.

All of them were filled because no one is more preferred to the other in the presence of God all services to God and in the house of God are all necessary. All of them were filled because they all need to work maximally in any capacity that they will have to function to promote the kingdom. That you are not a pastor does not mean that you cannot be a chorister and at the same time be the best.
*Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, "It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word*." *Acts 6:2-4*.

We can see division of labour at play in the lives of the apostles and we know that when such is done with individuals working in the areas of their giftings they work more because the gift is there even interest can be part of division of labour to bring about one's best. One of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is wisdom.

All of them were filled because they need to collaborate to bring about a massive devastation to the kingdom of darkness. So you remember the story of Peter and join at the gate called beautiful? Peter said to the crippled "look at us" not look at me because two is better than one.
*And fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, "Look at us*."  *Acts 3:4*.

They all needs to be full so that when it comes to cooperate anointing the outcome will be fast and wonderful. Imagine the case that we saw above, if it was only peter that had full anointing and the other had half how could two of them operate at the same level? It would have been a case of competition instead of complimenting one another.

All of them were filled because they all had one mind, none of them were looking for the Holy Spirit to proof to the other that he or she is more anointed than the other or that God is closer to him or her than the other, the bible told us that they were all in one accord. They were all ready to do the work of the kingdom in their respective areas.

I pray for you and with you that as you cross over to the second half of the year that the God that saves the best for the last will make all things beautiful for you and your family by the power in the name of Jesus.
