*HE IS RISEN INDEED PT30*

*To whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God*.
*Acts 1:3*

Before telling us how Jesus showed Himself to the disciples with infallible proves, bro Luke had already told us that Jesus was with them and was giving them commandments which means that amongst the many things that Jesus taught his disciples for the kingdom was the commandments because it takes keeping the commandments to be with Him in heaven.

Though many of us see commandments as a punishment because it tells us what to do and what not to do and many of us most time disobey this commandments and so it makes us most times to be uncomfortable in hearing them but in reality a commandment is to guide us and not to punish us.

In religion a commandment is to test our loyalty to our God because our submissiveness to God is a way of our telling our God how much we love Him. So Jesus was teaching them how to love God above everything else.

Every commandment is to know whether we believe in God or not. If we cannot see God and yet obey His commandments it means that we believe that God exist hence we obey His commandments.

They were about to be handed over to the Holy Spirit and as such they needed to learn how to listen and work with the Holy Spirit and Jesus the one that will send the Holy Spirit knows how the Holy Spirit works and how to work with the Holy Spirit and so needed to put them through so as not to offend the Holy Spirit.

I pray for you and with you that the arrows that fly by day and the plague that lays wait at night will never locate you or any member of your family by the power in the name of Jesus
