*HE IS RISEN INDEED PT26*

*To whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God*.
*Acts 1:3*

For forty days Jesus was busy appearing and disappearing to and from His disciples and bro Luke told us that He was coming to tell them about the kingdom and you remember that anytime Jesus shows up in the midst of his disciples He will always leave His word(Himself) with them.

Apart from words of encouragement and reconciliation that Jesus was sharing and leaving with his disciples he was also preparing them for His departure. He knew that he was going to leave them anytime from then but he will not leave them just like that and so He had to prepare them for that.

There was going to be a transmission of assignment from Jesus to His disciples, Jesus was about handling the baton to those He had taught personally so that they can continue from where he had stopped or even do more than He Himself had done and so to achieve that He had to prepare them.
"*Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father*. *Lk 14:12*.

Come to think of it, how can a Cleopas that was a able to convince his friend to run away with him because of fear do a greater work? How can a Peter that has left for his former trade because of the felling of guilt do greater works? Because this their greater works must be recorded as their Acts and what kind of Act will it be to those that will see, hear or read about?

Jesus did not ask them to do what he did but greater than what He did then the question now is, can they do half of what Jesus did not to talk of doing greater works? Wait minute! Where are they going to do that greater works and amongst whom? The people that they were running from?

You can see that they needed something if possible more than encouragement because to do that greater works amongst those that they were running away from they needed the presence of Jesus to tell how and to not just assure them of His presence but to proof that what they thought was a weakness on the part of Jesus was actually His father's will for Him and it was a process of accomplishing His mission on earth.

I pray for you and with you that the the Lord will give you the spirit of boldness so that you will be able to dare those things that makes for progress and prosperity and grant you success in all your endeavours by the power in the name of Jesus.
