We have been looking at the resurrection and we have seen the uniqueness of Christian religion because of the power of the resurrection not that we are out to mock the other religions but to being them to the knowledge of the truth so that they too can embrace this light that we are privileged to see and know.

The resurrection gives meaning and beauty to our Christian faith as St Paul will say that "if Christ had not risen then our faith is in vain" you can see that the foundation of our faith is in the resurrection. Do you remember those that tried to kill the message of the resurrection? They were after our faith.

The resurrection tells us that we will not end in the grave, yes you heard me, we will never end in the grave rather we will end in eternity where Christ our saviour has gone ahead of to prepare for us and is seated at the right hand of the father because where he is there we will be also.

The story of the resurrection is the story of the ultimate power of God telling us that there is nothing God cannot do and that there is nothing God cannot do for us. If God can go as far as dying just to destroy death for us what is it that He cannot do for us?

The story of the resurrection is the story of love that knows no bounds. That God loved us so much as to give His best and His all for our salvation. And so if God can go this length for you and i, the big question that confronts us then is "How long have we gone to make this blessings ours?"

I pray for you and with you that any Balaam that has been hired by any Barak to release a curse upon you will never find any ground to achieve that rather he will use it to bless you by the power in the name of Jesus.
