*YOU CANNOT HIDE IT FROM GOD*

*And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you*?"
*Gen 3:8-9*.


Have you heard of the song that says "You cannot hide it from God" the song went further to say that you may cover your sins and nobody will know but you cannot hide it from God. To Adam and Eve they were not hiding their sins from God but they were hiding themselves from God probably thinking that God will engage in blame game as such if God does not see them He will have no one to blame.

Adam and Eve thought that God is man or like man as such they hid themselves believing most probably that since God will not see them for a while that He may forget and then they will be free from their guilt little did they know that there is something called conscience.

Have you not noticed that even before you do any wrong that it is your conscience that first of all starts to torment you? that is why even when they heard the sound even without knowing who owns the sound they rushed into hiding because they conscience was telling them the truth.

Before God could ask them anything their conscience has already judged them even when God asked about their whereabouts they started confessing even before they were asked because "conscience is an open wound that only the truth can heal" and unfortunately for Adam and Eve they refused to accept the truth.

Adam and Eve were thinking like you and i whereby we conclude that God is like us and such we can hide anything from him not knowing that even the intents of our hearts are known to God because He is omniscient that is to say that nothing can be hidden from him because He knows everything.

I pray for you and with you that anyone, power or kingdom that is digging any grave for you or your loved ones will end up in that grave by the power in the name of Jesus.
