*JESUS GAVE IT HIS ALL*

*After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!" So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit*.
*Jn 19:28&30*.

Let me try to paint a picture of what makes a Friday that God not man died for man is called good. One would have expected that God will just say "your sins are forgiven" but He did not do so rather He allowed his only begotten son to give his all just for the sins of sinners like me to be cleansed.

There are principles that are in place though put in place by God still obeyed by God. The principles are,
1. Every soul that sins must die.
*For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord*. *Rom 6:23.

Secondly, for the soul not to die a blood sacrifice must be made.
*And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission*. *Heb 9:22*.

Because Adam and Eve sinned and by extension you and i and because we live and swim in sin we are all supposed to die. So when Adam and Eve sinned they killed an animal to cover their nakedness (sin) and because blood were involved they did not die but that blood was not powerful enough to make man free.

Because of the blood of animals that are being used it has to be repeated as often as possible because it has no potential to set man free but for God so loved the world he had to use his only son so as to make man free once and for all.

*How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God*? *Heb 9:14*.

*For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life that He lives, He lives to God*. *Rom 6:10*.

So when Jesus came He went all the way to Calvary to pay for the debt that he didn't own just to make you and i free from the debt of sin and also to give us life eternal but if and only if we believe in Him and submit to his Lordship. Can you now see how good this Friday is? It is good Friday because in it man was ransomed and given a new life.

I pray for you and with you that the blood of Jesus will continue to ransom us from all our sins and defend us and our family members from the attacts of the evil ones in Jesus name
