*DON'T HIDE FROM GOD*

*And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you*?"
*Gen 3:8-9*.

Adam and Eve his wife only heard the sound of the Lord and all they could think of was to hide themselves from whom they should not not hide from in the first place. You can see from all indication that one of the major plan of the serpent was to separate Adam and Eve from the presence of God.

From the moment Adam and Eve heard the sound of the Lord and decided to hide themselves they never returned to the Lord. To hide themselves from the presence of the Lord is to conceal themselves so that they will not have anything to do with the Lord not knowing that when you disconnect from your source that you will definitely lack resources.

From eating from the fruit of a particular tree they hid themselves from the giver of trees. What you loose by disobeying God cannot be compared to what you stand to gain when you obey because the serpent that will whisper that idea to you is aware of what you stand to loose when you disobey God hence the suggestion(temptation) to do so.

Evil strives in secrecy and as such to ensure a continuity in sin, Adam and Eve were made to hide themselves because the serpent knows that the moment they open up to God that they will be given a second chance hence they were made to hide so as not to have a second chance.

Scripturally to hide also means the refusal to confess your wrongs, forsaking it and repenting from same. It also means giving excuses for your wrong which portrays a likelyhood of not returning to Grace and mercy or the making light of a grievous offence which makes one not to repent because as far as he or she is concerned what he or she has done is not enough to ask for forgiveness.

How can he that is running or hiding from God come back to God? You can see that every act of disobedience no matter how small it may seem in our sight is a well calculated attempt from the serpent to take us away from God.

I pray for you and with you that the grace that makes a nobody somebody and a sinner saint and a poor man rich fall upon you to transform your life for the better by the power in the name of Jesus.
