*DON'T BELIEVE THAT LIE*

*So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings*.

*Gen 3:6*

Am led to believe that one of the major reasons why madam Eve and her husband did not make efforts to return to God to apologise and renounce their way was what the serpent must have told them because with the kind of relationship that was existing between them and God nothing would have made them not to open up to God if not for the lies that the serpent must have told them.

One thing about lie is that it must be consistent to make it work. Having lied to madam Eve that God is a liar and having listened to it, we never heard of the serpent again until God showed up probably to blame God again like Adam and his wife madam Eve did.

*You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it*. 

*Jn 8:44*.

The devil must have whispered to them to sew fig leaves to cover themselves because God will not forgive or clothe them, it must have told them that God must punish them harshly as such they should avoid God. It must have told them that the more they eat of that tree that the wiser they will become so as not to repent or that since they have started eating the fruit that the only remedy is to continue to eat of it hence they avoided God so that God will not tell them something to the contrary.

I was surprised that even after been made naked from the tree that they were told will make them wise Adam and Eve did not recognise the lies of the devil still.The fruit that they were told that will make them wise actually made them naked and as such instead of avoiding the deceiver they choose to avoid the healer.They refused to avoid the deceiver but kept on listening to the deceit of the serpent.

The prodigal son at a point in his life has a retrospect of his life and discovered that he has actually offended his father and still realised that his father has the solution to his problem and then decided to return to his father with a remorseful heart and true to his expectations he met his father waiting to welcome him

The prodigal son knew that the worst of his father is better than the best of the devil and so concluded that returning to his father was non negotiable and so he returned to his father but Adam and Eve saw God as a wicked God that should be avoided by all means possible and as such ran away from Him. Adam and Eve had relationship with God but it was not intimate, they don't know about the love and mercy of God.they don't know that our God is a God that gives a second chance to those that truly repents

I pray for you and with you that wherever they have gathered to do you harm may they begin to kill themselves until they succeed in killing themselves without any escaping by the power in the name of Jesus
