*SELF HELP CANNOT SAVE YOU*

*So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings*.
*Gen 3:6*

We have seen that after the serpent has succeeded in deceiving madam Eve to make her disobey God madam Eve refused to be alone in that state as such she went ahead to make her husband to be like her or to bring her husband to the level that she was so that her husband will by no means be better than her or enjoy the glory of God while she remain a disobedient person.

Though not part of my message today but please permit me to drop this one as am led to do so now. Hear me child of God the reason people fight you especially when you are doing well and what is right is because they want you to come down to their level. The reason why it is called back bitting is because those biting you are in your back so they want you to come to the back or to look back perhaps you may turn back.

From the passage that we are reflecting from the only wisdom that madam Eve and her husband got from the tree that madam Eve told us that it was good for food and to make one wise was to see their nakedness(their emptiness) they saw that they were nothing without God. They saw that their glory was God but unfortunately they realised it too late. When the glory has departed from them.

That is not the worse thing that happened to them. The worst thing that happened to them was that instead of them to find out what led to their fall, how to make amends so as not to fall again, look for a way of returning to their originality(return to God) they resorted to self help. They started using fig leafs to cover themselves.

Instead of returning to God whose glory was covering them they felt that they can do it themselves, instead of returning to God they felt that they don't need God, instead of repenting and returning to God they choose to blame God and everything around them and when that could not help them they decided to sew fig leaves to cover their nakedness and even the fig leaves failed them because all that they needed was a return to God and not fig leaves.

I pray for you and with you that any coven summoning you or any member of your family for evil will catch fire and none of them will escape until the fire succeeds in devouring all of them in the name of Jesus
