*So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings*.

We have been seeing the progressive nature of how the woman was deceived by the serpent and king David was able to put it in such a way that makes it clearer in this way "Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly" madam Eve walked in the counsel of the ungodly and the next thing we heard of her was that "she saw".

She saw because she allowed the counsel of the ungodly and the counsel made her to see what she was not seeing before. When i say what she was not seeing before am not saying that the tree was out of her sight but the tree was there and she has been seeing the tree before because she was the one that told the serpent about the tree but this time she saw it in another dimension.

The eye is one of the channels through which we feed our soul and so anything that can corrupt our soul or our lives can enter through the eye so when the bible recorded that "she saw" it was telling us that the eye was feeding the soul to accept the lies of the serpent by seeing it in such a way to convince the heart to accept what the serpent was saying as true.

It was when the eye finally saw that the desire to have it as food now increased and the woman had to eat of it. The question now is, was she not eating before? Was she hungry? The bible never told us that she was hungry as the reason why she ate of it but because "she saw" she has to yield to what she saw.

In life we see things in different dimensions, most times what we see is the glory and not the story and because of the glory that we see many tend to do many things. Some blame God for partiality, some steal because of what they see and some can go extra miles to acquire what they saw. So what are you seeing and how are you seeing it?

I pray for you and with you that whatever that is giving the enemies the audacity and power to fight you from now goes down never to rise up again in the name of Jesus.
