*So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings*.

We have said that what we see determines what we will seize and that if we see well we will them seize well but if we fail to see well by allowing other people's opinions influence what we see we may end up choosing according to the desires of those whose opinion we listened to and their opinion may not be in line with the will of God for us.

When madam Eve choose according to the opinion of the serpent she choose wrongly and offended God by what she choosed and as if that was not enough she went ahead to influence oga Adam in the same line just to make sure that she did not fall alone. Every sin is contagious and the nearer you are to the source of sin the more contagious it can become.

Madam Eve was close to the tree as such she could stretch forth her hand and grab some and oga Adam was close to madam Eve so it was easier for madam Eve to deceive him and make him eat of the tree as well. Every contact with sin or a carrier may likely get you contaminated.

The serpent may have been able to convince madam Eve by telling her that it has already eaten of the tree and that the tree was very good for wisdom and madam Eve either curious to taste the tree and know of what it was made of or wanted to be in solidarity with the serpent so that it will not look like she was seeing the serpent in bad light decided to eat too and oga Adam not wanting to make his wife look foolish in what she did decided to eat too so they were all in solidarity in evil 

And let us note beloved that Proximity breeds conformity. The closer you are to evil or to the source of evil the more dangerous it becomes. So it is not just good enough to avoid evil but to avoid anything that can leads to it and to run away from the environment where evil can easily strive 

I pray for you and with you that the Lord will make anything or whatever thing that will make you the object of any joint demonic attacks to backfires by the power in the name of Jesus.
