*DON'T DIE PT7*

*And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'" Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil*."
*Gen 3:2-5*.

Having seen how madam Eve fell so cheaply to the cunning of the serpent like many of us do today especially things that has to do with what makes for material wealth, lust and worldliness we will be summarining the actions of madam Eve and her husband Adam in one word which is DISOBEDIENCE.

Disobedience simply means the outright negligence of what one ought to do, what one has been asked to do or what one is supposed or expected to do. This has to do with ones full consciousness of what one is doing and knowing full well the consequences of such.actions.

Disobedience also comes in the form of refusing to do what one is expected to do or doing things that one should not do. It also means not to obey constituted authorities or to submit to higher authorities.

It can also be the form of avoiding what ought to be done or doing what ought not to be done , Or the doing of that which is forbidden or the none compliance with the rules and regulations guiding a place or andl office etc.

Let us hear how God himself describes what they did.
*So Samuel said: "Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king*." *1Sam 15:22-23*.

I pray for you and with you that the Lord will cause every war in your life to seize and give you rest on all sides by the power in the name of Jesus
