*DON'T DIE PT3*

*And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'" Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil*."
*Gen 3:2-5*.

We have seen that even when one does not die physically that it does not in anyway mean that he or she is alive that we saw in the life of the famous prodigal son who left the presence of the father and the father said that the boy was dead not because they brought his corpse back but because he was away from the father.

When the son of Eli died the wife said that it was because the glory has departed,
*Then she named the child Ichabod, saying, "The glory has departed from Israel!" because the ark of God had been captured and because of her father-in-law and her husband. And she said, "The glory has departed from Israel, for the ark of God has been captured.*" *1Sam 4:21-22*.

We can see from this that whenever the presence of God depart from one the person may not die but the glory of God in him will depart from him and in that condition the person is not better than a dead person hence the person is always regardes as dead. The ark of God that was captured that made this woman to make this statement is the carrier of God's presence.

This glory is what man already has that made him to be like God or simply put, it is the godliness that is in man and this glory is what we call in Nigeria "follow come" you don't buy it, you don't pray to get it as long as you are a human being you have it. It is what God breathed into man that made man to be like God and differ from other creation.

*Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth*." *Gen 1:26*.

*And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being*. *Gen 2:7*.

I pray for you and with you that you will not undertake the assignment of the devil or his agents by the power and the name of Jesus.
