*DON'T DIE PT2*

*And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.'" Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil*."
*Gen 3:2-5*.

Permit me to make an open confession here that i belonged to the college of thought before now that God lied when He told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree in the midst of the garden as they didn't die after they were convinced by the serpent that they will not die and eventually they didn't die but as i continue to grow in Lord more revelations were given to me in that light and i want to share from that revelation.

*For this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry*. *Lk 15:24*.

Did you hear what the father of the prodigal son said? We were only told that the young man traveled to a distance country only to meet an unpleasant circumstances which forced him to do what he was not supposed to do and one day came to his senses and decided to return to his father and right in the very presence of the boy his father was saying that he was dead and funny enough the boy did not dispute that claim.

What are we saying here? Simple anything we go away from the presence of our father no matter how short the distance may be means death so what the serpent succeeded in doing was to make sure that man go away from God which to God means dead. So the devil did not tell madam Eve the truth rather it used the ignorance of madam Eve to against her.

*For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord*. *Rom 6:23*.

Anytime we walk into sin we walk away from God and the more we sin the more we sin the further we walk away from God and the wages of that ungodly walk is death. So Adam and Eve were dead but still moving so they were like a moving corpse.

I pray for you and with you that God will take away from your life and family anything that will make you to walk away from God by the power in the name of Jesus.
