*CHRIST IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON PT6*

*Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel*. *Is 7:14*.


We have been looking at why Adam and Eve lost the garden and we said that one of the many reasons why they lost Eden was arrogance, pride and ignorance of who God is and today i want us to continue to look at what it means not to know God.

*You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble*! *James 2:19*.
St James is telling you and i that it is not enough to believe in God alone as the only proof that one knows God or to believe that there is only one God because according to St James even the devil believe it too.

The kind of knowledge that we are talking about here is not about having or depending on good opinions of who God is to you because anybody can have any kind of good opinion of anything hence St James says that even the devil does that too as well as the the atheists.

Having a sound judgement of who God is which may be as a result of what is happening around you or the Miracles that are around you is not enough because He is God of all and can do anything for anybody.
*That you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust*. *Math 5:45*.

All these are not resting points because we need a deeper and better relationship through personal encounters of who God is to us by reason of deliberate attempts to know him more and more circumstances around us not withstanding.

I pray for you and with you that in this season that any problem or afflictions that has been prepared by powers to cross over with you will be annihilated by the power in the name of Jesus
