*CHRIST IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON PT4*

*Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel*. *Is 7:14*.

I know that you will be surprised to see that we are still talking about Eden when we are supposed to be talking about Emmanuel which is the reason for the season, you are right sir, but we won't be talking about the opportunity available to us to return to the new Eden without talking about how the first one was lost so that we won't loose this opportunity again accept one doesn't want to be there.

We have seen that the first Eden was lost due to pride, arrogance and disobedience and we went ahead to see also that the reason why it was so was because they don't know God and we said that this kind of knowledge is not about knowing that God is up there or what people told you about God but having intimate relationship and knowledge of who God is.

Speaking to the religious people of his time Jesus told them that their claim to have known God was all lies because looking at them at that time it was clear that even when they claim that they know God that their actions speaks otherwise, even when they go to church every Sabbath yet they don't know Him.
*Jesus answered, "If I honor Myself, My honor is nothing. It is My Father who honors Me, of whom you say that He is your God. Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say, 'I do not know Him,' I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word*. *Jn 8:54-55* 

Knowing God births honour and this kind of honour is not as the world honours but God's own kind of honour, I mean the kind of honour that cannot be taking away from you, the kind of honour that is not promised and cannot be fulfilled. Am talking about honour the kind of honour that lasts and cannot be corrupted.

I pray for you and with you that the Lord will honour you with the kind of honour that will make you a commander in all areas of your life by the power in the name of Jesus.
