*CHRIST IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON PT18*

*Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel*. 
*Is 7:14*.

Still looking at the sign that God gave us and how we can maximize this wonderful opportunity, having that at the back of our mind we want to take a look at the obstacles that can makes us to ignore or not utilize or follow this sign and one major one that we are going to be looking at today is called pride with his friend arrogance.

A sign requires humility to understand and follow since most times the sign does not in anyway look like what it is pointing to but with humility and total submission to the will of God who is showing the sign the end is guaranteed.

Unfortunately arrogance and pride has made many to ignore the sign because they don't want to leave where they are(state of sin). they don't want to embrace change. A change for the better, a change to serve God in spirit and on truth and a change to surrender their lives to God.

Many too in a bid to avoid the process try to take short cuts not minding that short cuts has cut the lives of many short and even when the so called Short cuts has turned to most times even the longest cut. Any process outside the God that is giving the sign will definitely lead to nowhere.

But the good news is that the son that is given is called Immanuel which means that God is with us and if God is with us we will see the sign clearly, following the sign will not be a difficult task because our God is with us and the strength to accomplish whatever the sign means to us will not be lacking as well.

Again like Adam and Eve we must not take the presence of God in our midst for granted and we must take it as a privilege and not as a right and we must try to make sure that God does not in anyway regret ever being amongst us and finally we must make sure that we don't leave the presence of Him that is in our presence.

I pray for you and with you dearly beloved that as you are about to cross over that the presence of God in your life will melt all mountains around you so that you don't carry over what should be over in your life by the power in the name of Jesus.
