*CHRIST IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON PT17*

*Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel*. 
*Is 7:14*.

We have said that this sign that God gave and is still giving us is to point to us the reason for the season which is Christ the saviour and we saw that he was given as a son and we said that a son is one that is a heir to whatsoever or all that his father has and that he became a son so that we through Him will also become the sons of God and heirs to His kingdom.

Another thing that makes a son is the fact that a son is a citizen of his or her community I know that you are going to ask me about daughters, well daughters are good but their are the citizens of anywhere they are married to but a son no matter where you marry from you must return to your father's house.

For instance, anytime that it is my turn to become the head of my community they must send for me and nobody i mean nobody will take that honour from me no matter how wealthy the person may be but no matter how old my elder sister will be nobody will do that for her. I will even become the head of my community in her presence even if she married to my villager.

So God giving us a son is making us citizens of heaven because where the son is there we will be also and whatever that God gives to His son that we took are entitled to because Christ did not become a son for becoming sake but to make each and everyone of us what the father intends for us.
*But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name*: *Jn1:12*.

St John tells us that this gift is not just given for giving sake but the there is receiving part of it. The gift has been given but if we don't receive it then the faught is ours not that of the giver he cannot be the giver and the receiver and there is no way that he will force us to receive that which he has given to us.

I pray for you and with you that anything programmed to tamper with your smooth and joyful transition into next year will meet death at the point of conception by the power in the name of Jesus.
