*CHRIST IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON PT13*

*Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel*. 
*Is 7:14*.

We said that God gave you and i a gift and we went ahead to see that this gift was so precious and this gift can only be out of love and not merit because there is nothing that man can do to merit the gift and everyone of us need to work for it. The gift is already given but the acceptance has to be done by you and i.

From our opening scripture the word of God said that it is God himself that choosed to give us a sigm. He asked Ahaz to choose how he wanted the sign but Ahaz refused but the refusal of Ahaz did not stop God from giving us the sign because "no purpose of His can be twarthed" 

For us to work towards this gift a sign was given to us. A sign is a pointer to something which means that your ability to recognize the sign, read the sign and know what it means is very important. A sign is not to punish us but to make us to work it out. A sign can also be said to a token, something by which another thing is shown or represented.

A sign can be defined as what we see that leads to what we cannot see, in this case God gave a sign that seems impossible, a sign that is unbelievable and unrealistic, yet it came to pass. It tells me and you that God can do anything to bring about his purpose especially when it concerns the salvation of souls.

I pray for you and with you that the Lord that lifts men will visit you and lift you out of every ugly situation that you are right now and make you to sit where you never thought or imagined that you could ever be by the power in the name of Jesus.
