*FAITH NUGGET*

*GOD IS IN YOU PT22*

*And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being*. 
*Gen 2:7*.

The other day we talked to about who to take counsel from and we proceeded to see that there are also the kind of people that we should not be in their midst not to talk of taking counsel from them because taking counsel from them is tantamount to a curse.

Today we want to look at how we can sustain ourselves in the right counsel or how we can continue in the right counsel because after king David has told us not to follow the counsel of the ungodly he went ahead to give us a solution as to how to sustain good counsel.

*But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper*. *Ps 1:2-3*.

Here king David is telling you and i that our delight should be in the law of the Lord. What does it mean to delight in something? Delight is a high degree of pleasure, or satisfaction of mind. He is encouraging us to obey the Lord not by force by out of love.

What our father king David is telling you and i is that we should continue in the word of God by doing what it requires of us and by making sure that we allow the word to become part of us by dwelling there and allowing the word to form whatever we do or say.

By meditation we become what we meditate on and allow what we meditate on to transform us into what we meditate on. If we meditate on the word of God, the word will grow in us and become flesh in our lives.

I pray for you and with you that the Lord will lift up your head wherever your head is bent down in shame, disgrace or anxiety. May He raise you up whenever you have fallen and may He settle you with the good desires of your heart in Jesus name
