*YOU NEED REST PT8*

*Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made*. 

*Gen 2:1-3*.

Having the help of God which cannot be quantified in any term we have come this far in seeing why God blessed and sanctified the seventh day. We have said that God has known that man will fail him from the beginning hence He made an arrangement for mans return to Him at anytime that He(man) chooses.

We have seen how God used to visit man in the garden only to come one day and man was nowhere to be found and on enquiry God discovered that man has eaten the forbidden fruit.

Having lost the privilege of having the presence of God at all times the reverse now becomes the case as God cannot behold iniquity so man has to seek God with the condition that he is pure in heart and a clean hands.

*Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully*. *Ps 24:3-4*.

Before, God was the one coming to meet man but now man has to seek God and the only condition is that it must be in purity of heart and clean hands which was the reason he lost the presence of God in the first instance.

Man devised the evil in his heart, stretched out his hands to commit the evil and choose to disobey God by so doing choose another god outside the God that made him.

God had known before hand that man may drift away from his presence so to restore man to his presence he created an opportunity and a day before hand for that.

So in a nutshell God hallowed and sanctified the seventh day because he knew that that will be a day when He will be visiting man and He cannot afford to be in a day like others. For Him to do that(have a relationship with man) he the day of the meeting must be sanctified and hallowed because He is a holy God.

I pray for you and with you that whatever the enemies are doing to frustrate your destiny to make you a failure in life as we pray now we decree that it not hold neither will it come to pass in Jesus name.
