*YOU NEED REST PT5*

*Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made*. 
*Gen 2:1-3*.

In this series we have said that one of the ways to reciprocate this love of God is to obey his commandment and today we will continue to see more on why God rested on the seventh day and why He(God) wanted us to rest as well.

We have said that resting on the seventh day helps us to rejuvenate and today we want to say that apart from helping us to rejuvenate that it helps us to plan well. If God could plan his work within His time we too should learn from him how to plan our time too.

Another reason why we need to rest on the seventh day is that resting will make us to have strength different from rejuvination. Am talking of the kind of strength that guarantees stability, firmness etc

This kind of strength does not require force but built for necessity and not for fight. It does not require breaking or yielding. It is a confidence booster that makes one to dare to succeed.
*They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion*. *Ps 84:7*.

This kind of rest does not mean that weak or weary. No sir. God did not rest, as one weary, but as one well-pleased with the instances of his own goodness and the manifestations of his own glory.

I pray for you that as you round off your work for the week that what you have been looking for since and has been eluding you will begin to find you and i put systems under pressure to facilitate that in Jesus name.
