*YOU NEED REST PT3*

*Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made*. *Gen 2:1-3*.

We said that God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day and not just resting but He also blessed the seventh day and sanctified it. We also saw how God gave a commandment that the seventh day should be kept holy unto Him.

We have also seen that one of the reasons why He wanted us to reserve that seventh day for Him is that he wants us to be in his presence without checking time and without being bothered by any unfinished business. Just to be anxious for nothing. Amen!!!

The creator of heaven and earth did all that in six day, the question now is what are you doing that you cannot rest after six days? Are you creating another heaven and earth? Apart from it being a command don't you know that you need rest to be able to start better and heathier the next week? "God nor be bomboi oooooo" He knows what is good for you and i.

Moreover when God asked us to keep the seventh day holy it was not an attempt on the part of God to punish us or to make us do less work but to establish a day of grace wherewith grace will be poured into our lives. Remember that we need grace for the race.

By sanctifying the seventh day God used the opportunity to make sanctification available for you and i so that as we obey him we can through that obedience obtain sanctification for our lives.

I pray for you and with you that as you obey the Lord by keeping the seventh day holy that the Spirit of the living God will use it as an avenue to manifest Himself in your life thereby transforming your life for better in the name of Jesus.
