*YOU NEED REST PT12*

*Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made*.

Yesterday we said that there is an advantage in seeking God and i know that some of us may be asking how to seek this so good and loving God. Because we said yesterday that if one has not started enjoying good things that it is either one has not found this good God or that one has not sought Him well.

Today we want to see why we should seek when it is obvious that God has good things for us and God can actually give us this good things without us asking.
"*Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened*. *Math 7:7-8*.

Have you seen that asking is a command? Can you now see that you not asking is actually an act of disobedience? And you and i know that man wandered away from God due to disobedience so to correct that singular act you must show some level of obedience by asking..

The garden was given to man without asking and man lost it because it was giving to him on a platter of gold so as a way of showing repentance man must as a matter of necessity look for it if not for anything but to show that he values it.

Adam never accepted the responsibility of what he did which led to his loosing the garden so for man to see the good of the land(garden) he must show some level of responsibility and that is by asking.


I pray for you and with you that whatever disobedience to God has caused you that the good Lord will have mercy on you and restore all that you have lost especially that grace of enjoy His presence in Jesus name Amen
