*YOU NEED REST PT11*

*Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made*. 
*Gen 2:1-3*.

We have been seeing the benefits of being in God's presence and we have attributed it to be one of the reasons why God blessed and sanctified the seventh day and also rested so as to have enough time to not just attend to us but to be with us and by the special grace of God we will be seeing more today. Amen!!!

Permit me to say here that we cannot be in his presence if we don't seek it and desire it. God will not force Himself on us, we must desire it and pursue it and the letter to the Hebrews gave us the criteria of doing so.
*But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him*. *Heb 11:6*.

We are told from the letter to the Hebrews that we must seek him with diligence. To seek him with diligence simply means that we must as a master of necessity do the following.

We must be consistent and constant in seeking Him. We must not seek him today and then complain tomorrow but we must seek him in and out of season. We must seek him at all times. 

We must not seek him anyhow and anywhere. We must seek him with the belief that we will find him hence the writer of the letter to Hebrews advises us to arm ourselves with faith whenever we re seeking Him.

We must seek him with the knowledge of who He is and what He represents in our lives. That is we must see Him as the God that He is and not just one of the deities with the intention that if he fails you try another.

You must seek Him, fully convinced that he is God, He remains God and He will always remain God. Incomparable, unequalled and unparalleled. We must seek Him with the heart of love, as one who is loving and as one who deserve to be loved.

Hence the writer of the letter to the Hebrews told us that he is a rewarded but only to those that seek Him diligently. Hence we must seek Him with the intention of finding Him and not on trial and error. No sir, it must be with the believe that we will find Him as we seek Him.

I pray for you and with you that the doors and windows of heaven be opened to you so that in whatever you do that you will prosper more than you ever expected or imagined in Jesus name.
