*YOU NEED REST PT10*

*Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made*. 
*Gen 2:1-3*.


Yesterday we talked about the benefits of seeking and being in the presence of God and we said that the presence of God melts mountain(problems) because when man walked away from God he walked into chaos and anarchy hence the need to seek the presence of God for solution.

When Moses was begging God for his presence God outrightly told him that his presence does not only guarantee melting of mountains but that His presence also guarantee rest as well.

Having wandered away from the garden man became a wanderer and as wanderers we need rest to put an end to our wandering so the presence of God also guarantees rest from wandering.
*And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest*." *Ex 3:14*.

REST simply means
*R*. For restoration, restoration of the Lost garden, lost glory, lost presence of God. etc
*E*. Enlargement. God wants us to grow beyond our imagination.
*S*. Salvation. God does not want us to be condemned but to have eternal life Because until you are saved you are not safe.
*For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life*. *Jn 3:16*.
*T*. Total victory over the devil, his agents and plan over lives so as not to give the devil the room to deceive us again..

I pray for you and with you that henceforth that you will begin to enjoy the benefits and the fullness of the finished work of Calvary by the power in the name of Jesus.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!
