*So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them*.

Yesterday we talked about giving our lives a meaning because that is what is expected of us from God because giving our lives a meaning will go a long way in defining us thereby making us the Apple of God's eye that we are. Amen!!!

Having seen what it takes to give our lives a meaning today we will progress to other area of becoming a man. Today we are going to be talking about giving our lives a purpose as a way of becoming a man.

Apart from giving your life a meaning the next thing that can bring about the man in is to live a life of purpose. Living a life of purpose is to set goals for ourselves. Positive and simple goals that are achievable and not complicated goals that cannot be achieved.

There is no gain saying that the Supreme Being created intelligent beings for some benevolent and glorious purpose, and if so, how are we cooperating with this divine plan to glorify the Lord and to better the earth?

Unfortunately the ambition of men is generally directed to one of two purposes, or to both; the acquisition of wealth or of power at the detriment of the purpose for which we were created.

We build houses for the purpose of shelter; we labor for the purpose of sustainance are they wrong? No sir but in our scale of preference God must be first. Anything that takes the first place apart from God makes the purpose erroneous.

Our purpose must as a matter of necessity allign with the purpose of our creator for there lies our greatness and it is only when that is done that we can be called a man.

I pray for you that the lifter of men will not pass you by today as he goes about lifting men in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.
