*FAITH NUGGET*

*YOU ARE UNIQUE PT21*

*So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them*.  
*Gen 1:27*.

We have been helped by the Holy Spirit to see that one of the requirements necessary to be called a man is growth and we said that the growth is necessary because we were created with a unique seed not to just produce our kind but to foster the work of creation.

Today we want to look at maturity as one of the major products if not the only product of growth. Every growth is expected to climax in maturity so i make bold to say that until one matures into the fullness of what God wants him or her to be that his or her growth is incomplete or is in process.

Maturity in this context is to know what is good and evil and to avoid that which is evil at all cost and choose to do that which is good irrespective of what it will cost you. This kind of maturity speaks of taking responsibility inorder to become responsible.

In this kind of maturity, emotions are jettisoned, sentiments are kept aside and that which is good is pursued with all that it takes. Blame game is not thought of and acceptance of ones mistakes and wrongs inorder to avoid them are the order of the day.

It takes maturity to accept that one is wrong as that is the only way to show to a reasonable extent that one is likely not to go back to that same or kind of wrong next time.

This kind of maturity makes one to say sorry and not just saying sorry but also doing all he or she can to make amends, restitution if necessary and to ask for forgiveness appropriatelly.

I pray for you and with you that the desires of your life to serve God and serve Him well will not be frustrated or aborted but be nourished by grace so that you will see that desire come to pass in Jesus name.
