*BEGIN WITH GOD PT21*

*Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth*. 

*Gen 1:16-17*.

We have talked about our work since we have decided to begin with God so that as we walk with God our work will be pleasing to Him. Amen!!!. Today we want to progress to other things in relation to our beginning with God.

From our opening scripture we can see that God made two great light. One He made to rule the day and the other to rule in the night. Stars were also made to still give light to the earth.

One thing common to all of them is that God called all of them great light, size not withstanding and after that He assigned to them when to perform. Some are to perform in the day while some are to perform in the night.

Even though God called them great light i know that you know too that all of them are not having the same capacity but the truth of the matter is that no matter their capacities they were all performing optimally in their respective functions.

Do you know that you are a great person? Am i permitted to remind you that nobody can stop your shine? There is something that God has deposited in you that no one can stop. Discover yourself and shine your shine.

I pray for you that you will shine beyond human expectations and that anyone, kingdom or powers that will want to stop your shine will not live to achieve that goal in Jesus name Amen.

*OUR BEGINNING OF THE YEAR PROGRAME*.

By way of encouraging ourselves to start the year with God we started a prayer and fasting programme to enable us to wait on God and we outlined the following as a guide.

1. Start with prayer and fasting. It may be for 7, 21 or 40 days with fasting lasting as much as 6:00am to 12:00, 03:00, or 06:00pm.

 

2. Choose the one that will be convinient for you. The most important thing here is consistency and total commitment to do it well and to the glory of God.

3. Make sure that you are not doing it to please any man or under duress or compulsion or as a ritual.

4. Read the bible as much as you can not as a literature but with some level of reflection.

5. Try to go through this reflection daily as it will help in your spiritual growth. And God helping me I will be dropping some prayer point as well.

6. Pray the prayer points and don't just read them please.

It is my earnest desire that we continue to grow in the Lord until we all grow to full maturity in Christ.

*PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY* (*OUR PROGRAMME TO START THE YEAR*)

1. Oh Lord, because your thought towards me is of good and not of evil, cause my life to flourish continually in Jesus name.

2. Lord, as i pray now i declare that by the blood of Jesus Christ that i am free from every form of bondage in Jesus name.

3. Oh Lord, deliver me from everything things that is pulling me backwards in life and destiny in Jesus name.

4. Lord, as i pray now i loose myself from every satanic force that is holding me down in Jesus name.

5. Oh Lord, deliver me from all battles prepared against me in this year in Jesus name.
