*BEGIN WITH GOD PT9*

*Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind"; and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good*. 
*Gen 1:4-25*.

We started this series by seeing how God began a begining from nowhere, with nothing but with what He had inside of Him (all sufficient one) with that He began a begining.
What am i driving at beloved? Don't wait to have the whole world before you begin to do something, don't wait to have all the finance, and human resources that you need before thinking of doing something, beloved start from somewhere and with what you have.

God started from nowhere and and ended up somewhere. You and i know that life is a risk and that it is more risky not to take a risk. Many of us are always scared of the unknown thereby neglecting the known and so they refuse to take the risk that will definitely change their life.

Why bother about the unknown when you have not finished with the known? Worrying about the unknown will cost you to do nothing about the known. Take advantage of the known and allow God that knows all both the known and the unknown to take care of the unknown for you. That is why it is necessary for you to walk with God.

Many too don't want to start small, we want to do everything big even if we don't have what it takes to do so hence prophet Zechariah will always advise us thus,
*Zech.4.10* *Who [with reason] despises the day of small things? For these seven shall rejoice when they see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. [These seven] are the eyes of the Lord which run to and fro throughout the whole earth*. (AMP)

Some of us are busy waiting for the promise that may never come. Last year you waited for your brother in America to no avail, this year you are waiting for your uncle that works in Chevron. The question is "how long are you going to wait and how many of them are you going to wait for? Have you forgotten that all of them have their own responsibilities?

The more you wait the more time you waste so why not stop waiting and start doing something today no matter how small it may be, knowing full well that every great thing starts small.

I pray for you that the God that turned the fortunes of Jabez around will visit you and make you more honourable than your equals in the name of Jesus.

*OUR BEGINNING OF THE YEAR PROGRAME*.

By way of encouraging ourselves to start the year with God we started a prayer and fasting programme to enable us to wait on God and we outlined the following as a guide.

1. Start with prayer and fasting. It may be for 7, 21 or 40 days with fasting lasting as much as 6:00am to 12:00, 03:00, or 06:00pm.
 
2. Choose the one that will be convinient for you. The most important thing here is consistency and total commitment to do it well and to the glory of God.


3. Make sure that you are not doing it to please any man or under duress or compulsion or as a ritual.

4. Read the bible as much as you can not as a literature but with some level of reflection.

5. Try to go through this reflection daily as it will help in your spiritual growth. And God helping me I will be dropping some prayer point as well.

6. Pray the prayer points and don't just read them please.

It is my earnest desire that we continue to grow in the Lord until we all grow to full maturity in Christ.

*PRAYER POINTS FOR OUR PROGRAMME TO START THE YEAR*

1. Lord, i ask that 2024 will be better than 2023 in my life and family in Jesus name.

2. 2024, hear the word of the lord, you must favor me in Jesus name.

3. In 2024 i wil miss my opportunities/blessings even as i command opportunities to begin to locate me now in Jesus name.

4. In 2024 I will only move from glory to glory.

5. My expectations of 2024 shall not be cut short in Jesus name.

Once and again dearly beloved we continue to give thanks to the Lord for the great things that He has done and He alone can do especially for the greater things that He will still do for us and members of our families. To Him alone be all the glory both now and forever. Dearly beloved i pray for you and with you that on this season and this year that the Lord will so bless you to the point that even the blessed shall call you blessed. Your blessings will so overflow to the point that those around you will even have more than enough from you by the power in the name of Jesus. LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again. He was victorious for you and i.
