*BEGIN WITH GOD PT5*

*And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day*. 
*Gen 1:4-5*.

We have seen how darkness all of a sudden manifested in creation and eventually God had to speak what He wanted into existence and today we are seeing how God saw what he wanted and decided to separate it from what was in existence.

As we journey in this 2024, there are things that we need to separate from others. There are things that if we allow them to co-exist with what is in existence that it will make our journey a bad one or give it a bad name.

God separated what is good from what is bad. As we journey we need to separate bad character from the good one, we need to separate from bad friends and influence from our lives, any association that will give us bad name we need to separate from them. God separated and so you too must separate because if you don't separate you may go in for what you did not do and may that not be your lot in this year in Jesus name Amen.

There are some characters that gave us bad names last year and they are still in us, they caused us opportunities and they are still with us in this year child of God we need to separate from them because if we keep doing the same thing always and expect a different result we will end up deceiving ourselves.

There are Places that we don't need to be, we were there all through last year and it didn't bring God glory neither did it bring any good to us beloved, let us seapratdrom them. There are associations that we need to quit with immediate effect because the more we associates with such people the more wrong things continues to happen to us.

When we talk about separation we are talking of "total separation". Since God separated darkness from light have you ever seen them together? Because there association can never bring acceleration.

I pray for you today that just as the three wise men located Jesus and became a blessing to him so shall your destiny helpers locate you in this year for your promotion and elevation and acceleration in Jesus name Amen.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.

*OUR BEGINNING OF THE YEAR PROGRAME*.

By way of encouraging ourselves to start the year with God we started a prayer and fasting programme to enable us to wait on God and we outlined the following as a guide.

1. Start with prayer and fasting. It may be for 7, 21 or 40 days with fasting lasting as much as 6:00am to 12:00, 03:00, or 06:00pm.
 
2. Choose the one that will be convinient for you. The most important thing here is consistency and total commitment to do it well and to the glory of God.


3. Make sure that you are not doing it to please any man or under duress or compulsion or as a ritual.

4. Read the bible as much as you can not as a literature but with some level of reflection.

5. Try to go through this reflection daily as it will help in your spiritual growth. And God helping me I will be dropping some prayer point as well.

6. Pray the prayer points and don't just read them please.

It is my earnest desire that we continue to grow in the Lord until we all grow to full maturity in Christ.

*PRAYER POINTS FOR OUR PROGRAMME TO START THE YEAR*

1. Lord thank you for making me to witness the first Sunday of the year.

2. Lord as i begin to pray make my destiny helpers to locate me from the four corners of the earth in Jesus name.

3. Lord, as begin to pray give me the grace to sepayfrom whatever that i need to separate from in Jesus name.

4. Lord, as i begin to pray i stop anyone that will be an obstacle on my way this year from locating me in the name of Jesus.

5. Lord, give me the right associations that will bring acceleration in my life this year in the name of Jesus.

Once and again dearly beloved we continue to give thanks to the Lord for the great things that He has done and He alone can do especially for the greater things that He will still do for us and members of our families.
