*BEGIN WITH GOD PT3*

*In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters*. 
*Gen 1:1-2*.

*BEGINNING OF THE YEAR PROGRAME*.

By way of encouraging ourselves to start the year with God we started a prayer and fasting programme to enable us to wait on God and we outlined the following as a guide.

1. Start with prayer and fasting. It may be for 7, 21 or 40 days with fasting lasting as much as 6:00am to 12:00, 03:00, or 06:00pm.
 
2. Choose the one that will be convinient for you. The most important thing here is consistency and total commitment to do it well and to the glory of God.


3. Make sure that you are not doing it to please any man or under duress or compulsion or as a ritual.

4. Read the bible as much as you can not as a literature but with some level of reflection.

5. Try to go through this reflection daily as it will help in your spiritual growth. And God helping me I will be dropping some prayer point as well.

6. Pray the prayer points and don't just read them please.

It is my earnest desire that we continue to grow in the Lord until we all grow to full maturity in Christ.

Yesterday we saw how God himself worked and we tried to encourage ourselves to go out there and work as nothing works until you work. Today we will be looking at the challenges of God as He embarked creation.

The bible made us to understand that that the moment God was set to do something the following happened. "and darkness was on the face of the deep". The word "and" speaks of addition. It was not added by God but it was added after all.

As you you embark on your work this year you may face some challenges but let me tell you that the challenges are not there to stop you but to be a stepping stone to your next level. How?

When God met challenges in the process of creation He overlooked it, He refused to give it attention but focused on what he wants to see by speaking it and the bible said "and there was light"

Which means that the presence of the challenge was not the absence of the solution so instead of focusing on the challenges he focused on the solution and eventually the irrelevance of the challenge was obvious.

So in this year focus on those things that you want to see. Focus on those things that will take you to the next level, focus on those things that will give God glory and jettison anything that is meant to distract you in the name of challenge. Yes you can!

*PRAYER POINTS*

1. Father as i begin to pray let the blessings of this year locate me in the name of Jesus.

2. Lord let all the agenda of my enemies of progress be frustrated in Jesus name.

3. Lord this year eaters of flesh and drinkers of blood will not locate me and members of my family in Jesus name.

4. Lord give me the grace to finish well and strong in the name of Jesus.

5. Lord in this year disappoint all those waiting for me to fail in the name of Jesus.

I pray for you and with you that the system will cooperate with you to be a blessing to you and all of them will be put under pressure to favour you in Jesus name.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.

Once and again dearly beloved we continue to give thanks to the Lord for the great things that He has done and He alone can do especially for the greater things that He will still do for us and members of our families. To Him alone be all the glory both now and forever.
