*BEGIN WITH GOD PT11*

*Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind"; and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good*.

Have you heard of the saying that the journey of a hundred kilometers starts with a step? That is exactly what we were trying to say yesterday that for every journey a step must be taken first.

From the look of what God has done and looking at the way it was done one will not but wonder the accuracy and precision taken in making sure that all things work well and are in order. All is a pointer that it was well planned.

What we are saying here in essence is that God planned everything so God is a planner and i know that you will agree with that to fail to plan is already a plan to fail.

Planning helps one to know what to do per time, to plan is to arrange things the way you want it done, when you want it done and how you want it done.

Planning helps one to put up his or her best as it enhances the performance of the planner as it helps the planner to execute what has been planned.

Above all planning help one to do the right things at the right time. It helps to maximise time and it also helps to fight procrastination as one cannot afford to prospone till tomorrow what should be done today as tomorrow has already been planned for.

Have you heard of the adage that says "like father like son?" We like God our father should plan our lives and not just plan but plan it very well.

I pray for you that in this year those waiting for you to fail will only wait to waste and those that left you will never meet you were they left you. The grace to succeed and succeed well will not be lacking in your life in Jesus name Amen.

*OUR BEGINNING OF THE YEAR PROGRAME*.

By way of encouraging ourselves to start the year with God we started a prayer and fasting programme to enable us to wait on God and we outlined the following as a guide.

1. Start with prayer and fasting. It may be for 7, 21 or 40 days with fasting lasting as much as 6:00am to 12:00, 03:00, or 06:00pm.

 

2. Choose the one that will be convinient for you. The most important thing here is consistency and total commitment to do it well and to the glory of God.

3. Make sure that you are not doing it to please any man or under duress or compulsion or as a ritual.

4. Read the bible as much as you can not as a literature but with some level of reflection.

5. Try to go through this reflection daily as it will help in your spiritual growth. And God helping me I will be dropping some prayer point as well.

6. Pray the prayer points and don't just read them please.

It is my earnest desire that we continue to grow in the Lord until we all grow to full maturity in Christ.

*PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY* (*OUR PROGRAMME TO START THE YEAR*)

1. Lord, as i begin to pray help me to plan my year and give me the grace to execute my plans in Jesus name.

2. Powers the frustrates people's efforts am not your candidate in the name of Jesus.

3. Lord, as i begin to pray waste every waster assigned to waste my efforts in Jesus name.

4. Any altar or kingdoms that has vowed that I will not succeed, eat your word and die in Jesus name.

5. Lord, as i pray may my glory of 2024 be far more better and more achievable in Jesus name.
