*FEAR NOT*

*And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn*. 
*LK 2:7*.

The year 2023 seem to be a difficult year and as such many of us may be nursing the fear of how next year will look like or be but hear me child of God i may not know what the future holds for you but i know who holds the future and His name is God and the good news is that the future that He holds for you is for good and not of evil and to give you your expected end. Amen!!!

Can you imagine that Mary was pregnant as not just a small girl but a girl that knows nothing about child birth and then came a decree to take her away from her parents, aunties and all that would have helped her in giving birth.

And as if that was not enough the bible recorded that when they got to the place she went into labour and friends and relatives refused to provide a place for her to put to bed and as if that was not enough even the public place called the inn has no place to accomodate them.

All these pushed her further away from help as they found themselves in the manger a place where sheep lives , leaving Mary with only Joseph. No midwife, no mother, no aunty. Everything seem to be working against her. Can you imagine.

Little did they know that they were helping Jesus to give Him an identity. No wonder the Bible told us that all not somethings work together for good for them that love God.

Jesus birth among sheep was not a coincidence but a divine plan of God as St John would see Jesus and address him thus.
*The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, "Behold! The lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!* *Jn 1:29*.

Lambs are not born in the inn, not in the hospital but in the manger and so child of God permit me to inform you that no matter how 2023 has been that it is just a raw material for a better 2024 so fear not for 2024 is going to be a better year for you and your family in Jesus name.

I pray for you that the God of all grace will take away your fears and anxieties and crown you with hope and peace in Jesus name.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
