*DARE TO STAND OUT PT16*

*Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us*.  
*Acts 16:14:15*.

By the help and grace of God we have seen extensively the life of our sister Lydia whom the bible told us was not just a hearer but also a doer of the word of God.

I believe that the life of sis Lydia is been presented to us so that we can learn from her qualities and try to live out the good qualities that we have seen in her.

Sis Lydia was a woman of virtues with a very strong and convincing integrity coupled with character to match in her worship of God and service to humanity without titles and seeking human applause to the point that it was glaring to all such that all men had something good to say of her before God and men.

The better aspect of it is that she was deliberate about living out these virtues to the point that she could put her life to public scrutiny without fear.

If you and i could be the sis Lydia of out time the world would be a better place and the church will be a place of attraction as our lives will preach more than our words. Are you ready to be another sis Lydia?
