*DARE TO STAND OUT PT15*

*Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us*.  
*Acts 16:14:15*.

Yesterday we saw how sis Lydia begged that she should be given the opportunity of hosting the apostles. We are going to be looking at how she made the appeal having established that the appeal was born out of the fact that she was trying to create opportunities to worship God by all means.

The Bible said that she made the appeal on this tune "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." can you see the tune? She placed her integrity on the line.

Let me try to break it down. She was saying if you know by reason of your observations that i am a good worshipper of the Lord come to my house to stay.

She was saying "you have seen me, you have heard about me. So by what you have seen and heard if you think that your coming to my house will not rubbish your reputation please come to my house.

If you think that am qualified to be called a follower of Christ (a Christian) if you consider that my actions and attitude is not a scandal to the body of Christ please come to my house.

I was expecting her to say "come to my house because i have more than enough to take care of you or come to my house to honour me because i am a major donor in this church. Or come to my house so that people will know that u am a full member of this church.

I expected her to say come to my house so that i will be qualified for an ezinne or Deaconess title but she did not do all that but had to put her integrity on the line.

I pray for you today that the thought of God for you which is for good and not of evil, which is to give you a future and a hope and to prosper you begins to find expression in your life from now on Jesus name.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave.
