*DARE TO STAND OUT PT14*

*Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us*.  
*Acts 16:14:15*.

We have been seeing the Acts of sis Lydia and how she made a commitment to worship the Lord to the point that even doubting Thomas could be convinced beyond reasonable doubt that she truly loved God.

Today we will be seeing how she led every member of her family to God. She was so convinced in the faith that she found that she had to take the faith to every aspect of her family.

Her faith did not just affect the way she live and her family life as a person but she ensured that the faith spread to everyone in her family.

Apart from that she went ahead to make sure that all of them were rooted in the faith by ensuring that all of them got baptised that same day to make sure that procrastination did not deny them that opportunity.

After that she begged them to stay in her house. Can you imagine that she was the one creating the opportunity to be blessed. When even many of us will not even say yes even after many appeals this one was the one begging them to come to her house.

How often so you seek opportunity to do good in the house of the Lord? If opportunities are not there do you create one or utilise the one that has been created? How eager are you to do good work at all cost. Remember that faith without works is dead.

I pray for you and your family that in this season and beyond that you and members of your family be hidden in the shadow of the most high in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
