*DARE TO STAND OUT PT13*

*Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us*.  
*Acts 16:14:15*.

Yesterday we saw how the work of sis Lydia did not prevent her from worshipping God like it usually did to many of us today. Today we want to look at another thing that would have stopped her but in all she prevailed.

We were told that sis Lydia was a married woman and that she had children. Unlike many of the women of our day she worshipped God wholeheartedly even as a married woman.

Marriages has become the reason why so many of our married couples are not worshipping God the way they should. All forms of excuses has been made in the place of worship all in the name of marriage.

Many women today blame their husbands for not praying especially when they have no challenge and things are going on well with them. Most times the only women that prays are those that have challenges in their marriages.

Many also don't go to church or possibly go late citing the litanies of activities that they have to do before coming to church and blaming it on either their husbands not helping out either by himself or by hiring a house help.

Many too are under the impression that since they have all that they need in their marriages that it shows that God always hear them whenever they pray and as such they boost of their prayer life and wait for a suitable time which may not come to pray. The list continues.

How has your marriage affected your worship of God? Has marriage which supposed to be a blessing to you turn to be the reason why you are not worshipping God? Remember that the blessings of God makes rich and adds no sorrow.

I pray for you that whatever that is stopping you from worshipping God the way you should so as to stop you from been blessed by God be rooted by fire in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
