*DARE TO STAND OUT PT12*

*Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us*.  
*Acts 16:14:15*.

Having seen how sis Lydia worshipped God with her time , talent and treasure we would proceed today to see what would have been am impediment to her in serving God and she overcame all of them.

We were told that she was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira. Let me make it simple for all of us to understand. "She be woman wey dey go Onitsha go buy something to sell" hope this makes small sense? Just for us to understand the kind of trade she does.

In our own case anything can deny us from loving God many of us will even claim that they did not come back that day not to talk of those that will claim that they came late that day hence they could not do the needful for God.

What of those that will fix their going to Onitsha that particular day that they have activity in the church just to have a reasonable reason why they cannot go to church service?

What of those that will be expecting a customer that may not come after all but will not even silence their phones in the church just to make sure that they had enough distraction and make sure that others are distracted too.

What of those that will not go to church because a customer had an appointment with them? What of those that will be running hecter skeeter from church to shop just to satisfy a customer because the customer cannot wait till the close of the church activity? The list can go on and on.

Are mine anyway supporting laziness or discouraging labour? No sir, am only saying according to the bible that " *To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven*: *Ecc 3:1*."

The whole thing needs to be balanced, we need to plan properly. We must also "*Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's*." *Math 22:21*.

How many thing do you hide under and how many things have you brought together to serve as an excuse in the place of your worship of God? Are you part of those that claim that "God will understand"? Remember that if God will understand you too will one day understand.

I pray for you that as you go out in search of daily bread that your bread and water will come to you even before you look for them but what will destroy you i pray that you will never meet in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.
