*DARE TO STAND OUT PT10*

*Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay." So she persuaded us*.  
*Acts 16:14:15*.

We have been privileged by revelations to see the qualities of a virtuous, dedicated and valiant sister called Lydia. The study of the Acts of Lydia is a challenge to you and i that we too can have our Acts written in the book of the Acts of the apostles of our time and may it be so for us in Jesus name.

Yesterday we looked at how to use our time to serve the Lord and today we will be looking at how to use our talent to serve the Lord. The true value of the talent cannot well be ascertained
 and as such many tend to neglect it. 

It is also necessary that we put it on record here that there is no one without a talent and it is also imperative to know that all of us are not equally talented. It is also necessary to say that God will not demand from us the result of the talent that He never gave us. Each of us will account according to our talents.

What is talent? It simply means "our faculties; natural gifts or endowments, why many of us use their talent judiciously for the service of God others do so and get paid also in the service of God. Let us put it on record that all our talents are free gift from God even if some get paid for using it in the service of God there are still many that use it to the glory of God.

These are the areas were our talent are required in the service of God.
Those that clean the church.
The choristers.
Instrumentalists.
Ushers/wardens.
Clearing the church compound and so on and so forth.

Do you know your talent? Are you using to serve the Lord? Your service to the Lord is it full or part time or for payment? Remember that all of us will give account of our talents to the giver(God)

I pray for you and your families that no matter the beauty, the cost and the availablity of the coffin that no member of your family including you will enter it in this season and beyond in the name of Jesus.
