*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT35*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 

*Acts 16:6-10*.

We have been looking at what it takes to climb the hill of the Lord because we are interested in climbing that hill and having seen by the help of the Holy Spirit what it takes to ascend that hill we will be looking what it takes for us to stand in his presence as king David told us.

*Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah. Ps 42:3-6*.

King David gave us these as the conditions to stand in his presence.

1. Cleans hands.

2. Pure heart.

3. Not idolatrous.

4. Swear deceitfully.

Can we really meet these requirements? Why do we need to stand there? Why not take the blessings and leave his presence in peace? Let ask king David again what he meant because the criterions seem to be burdensome.

*He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.". Ps 91:1-2*.

It is only when you stand(dwell) in his presence that the other blessings of psalm 91:3-16. can follow you.

In other words we don't need to rush to His presence and rush out but rather we are expected to Carry his presence so that as many as sees us will see the God whose presence we carry.

It is only when we remain in his presence that we can carry power. Am not saying that you must be sleeping in the church rather what we are saying is LET YOUR CONTACT CARRY CONTENT. and let the content be God.

It is the content that you carry that people will see and give glory to your father(whom you have contacted) in heaven. This contents are seen in our characters, actions and inaction etc. It entails representing God anywhere we find ourselves. It means doing what God would have done giving the circumstance and situation that we are.
