*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT31*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*.

Yesterday king David told us that fullness of joy can only be found in God's presence and today i was led to see also from king David the secret of being in God's presence or how one can ascend to God's presence.

*Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, Who seek Your face. Selah. Ps 42:3-6*.

Do you know why David started with a question? Because it is meant for all to ascend to the presence of God but only few are determined to do so. Only few are ready to pay the price of ascension.

Remember that he called it a hill and you don't climb the hill the way you walk on a level land and one thing that characterises the life of believers is that many that try to climb always slide down almost at the top of the hill because they are not ready to make extra effort or wait for God's time.

He went further to ask "Or who may stand in His holy place?" Why? We were told that our God is a consuming fire not a flame of fire but a consuming fire🔥🔥

*For our God is a consuming fire. Heb 12:29*.

So you must Carry fire before you can appear in His presence.

*Who makes His angels spirits, his ministers a flame of fire. Ps 104:4*.

Otherwise what happened to those that threw the three Hebrew boys to the fire may happen to you. It is either you die by the fire, melt by the fire or get purified by the fire if you have a good heart. Remember that fire does not discriminate. What it does to one it also does to all.

*Therefore, because the king's command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. Dan 3:22*.

Do you carry fire or do you carry enough fire? Remember that many things can happen to you when you come before the fire.
