*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT19*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 
*Acts 16:6-10*.

We have been looking at the ways to seek God and find Him. David told us that he did and succeeded without telling us how but Jeremiah told us that it is by seeking Him with all our hearts.

Seeking the Lord with all our hearts entails seeking Him earnestly, putting every necessary zeal to achieve what we are out for; importunately; eagerly; with real desire and with fixed attention and utmost desire.

The principles include humility through fasting, prayer, immense intake of the word of God, communion with the saints, repentance from all forms of sins, obedience, and perseverance. 

Which will lead us to begin to develop new habits of seeking God, making God to draw near to us. As we pursue Him, He responds with his presence, his blessing, and his power.

Having gone thus far in trying to unravel how to seek God and find find him i believe that you will begin to change your perspective in search of him inorder to find him.

I pray for you that you will not seek God in vain and that as you seek God may God meet you at the point of your needs in Jesus name Amen.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again. He was victorious for you and i.
