*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT17*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 
*Acts 16:6-10*.

Yesterday we consulted king David and bro Jeremiah and they told us about how they sought the Lord and he answered them. This is born out of our desire to see why the urgent need of Paul and Barnabas in Macedonia.

From the prophecy of Jeremiah the Lord gave us a format. "Seek me with all your heart". You will agree with me that this kind of seeking is not the type that is done anyhow but with diligence and total commitment.

To seek the Lord in this context expressly implies that we take time in digging deep, searching for better understanding which will birth better knowledge of him and consequently breeds love.

This kind of seach entail looking for relevant Information that will help us to love God more and fear the devil less. It takes time and deliberate efforts.

How do you search for God? What is your relationship with God? What efforts are you making to deepen your relationship with God? It pays to seek God with all our hearts.

I pray that God will always answer you anytime you seek him and as you seek him may He give you a result that will cancel every insult in your life in the name of Jesus.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again. He was victorious for you and i.
