*FAITH NUGGET*

*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT24*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 

*Acts 16:6-10*.

There is one other way which i love very much through which we can seek God and find Him and it is recorded in book of second chronicles.

*If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. 2Chr.7.14*.

Let us lay the facts bare here

1. We are already God's people not that we are trying to be God's people. No, we are already.

2. We must humble ourselves. Do you remember that we said it here that it takes humility to seek God?

3. We must pray. Ask for it even when it is already available to avoid abuse.

4. We must Seek. This kind of seek means that we must understand that God is all that we need or that we must understand that we all need God even though God has no need of us. We must realise that God is our source and that when we cut of from our source that we will lack resources.

We need to know that for our lives to be sauced you need the source. When we disconnect from our source (God) we will definitely lack resources. So we must apply all diligence in making sure that we find God.

We must turn from our wicked ways (total repentance) we must admit the fact that we have sinned are in need of God's mercy and we must not out of God's mercy continue to sin because the God of mercy is also the God of justice.

*If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1Jn 1:8-9*.

Let us humble ourselves, admit our sins and repent from all of them and ask for grace to live out our christian calling.

I pray that God will defend us from every oppression of the devil and his agents. Defend us from the spirit of fear and poverty and safe us from every affliction and grant all our needs through Christ our Lord Amen.
