*FAITH NUGGET*

*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT16*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 
*Acts 16:6-10*.

We have been looking at the reasons why the Macedonian church was preferred to be attended to first by Paul and Barnabas and by the grace of his we have been able to establish quite a number of them and today we will continue with the reasons as the Holy Spirit continues to inspire us. To God alone be all the glory.

Today we consulted king David to give us his own kingly opinion and he has this to say.

*I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears*. *Ps 34:4*

Another reason for their preference was that they sought the Lord and he answered them.

Bro Jeremiah will has this to tell us on why it became necessary for them to be attended to urgently.

"*You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13*. 

Now, this is clearly a promise that God was giving to you and i, the new people of Israel, the way that he would restore us to himself through our constant and daily seeking after him.

In order to really find God, it was revealed to bro Jeremiah how we must seek Him with all of our hearts. We can't casually try to seek God a little here and there and expect to really find Him. We must dive in and seek Him with everything we have in order to really find Him and get to know Him.

It was in seeking that they found Him in Paul and Barnabas and not just seeking but with all their heart. There is a difference between seeking and seeking with all our hearts because how you seek God matters alot.

I pray for you and with you to the Lord to destroy the teeth of all those that wants to devour us, paralyse the hands of all those that wants to catch us for evil and paralyse also the legs all that are pursuing us to harm or destroy us in the name of Jesus.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
